New-York-PathwayThrough the ELS University Transfer Pathway Program, students who are conditionally admitted to Fulton-Montgomery Community College (FMCC) have the opportunity to transfer to the University at Albany or SUNY — Brockport and earn a dual degree. Students in this program are provided with academic counseling and course selection assistance that will maximize credit transfer and facilitate enrollment to either University at Albany or SUNY – Brockport.

After successful completion of ELS Level 109, you can matriculate into Fulton-Montgomery Community College. Once you complete your Associate’s Degree at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, you will be able to matriculate to one of the partner universities in this program.

Admission Requirements: State University of New York — Brockport

Your enrollment at State University of New York — Brockport is dependent on your successful completion of the following components:

  • Completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours from FMCC
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 from FMCC*
  • Official FMCC transcripts
  • Proof of high school completion or equivalent from FMCC
  • Proof of funding and sponsor letter for the cost of attendance at State University of New York Brockport
  • Copy of valid passport and F-1 visa

*Certain programs at State University of New York — Brockport require additional review and have higher minimum GPA requirements for full admission.

Admission Requirements: University at Albany

Your enrollment at University at Albany is dependent on your successful completion of the following components:

  • Completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours from FMCC
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 from FMCC*
  • Many programs at University at Albany have specific course requirements. Prospective transfer students who do not meet all the requirements at the time of admission may be offered admission as a proposed or intended major so that they can complete the entrance requirements while enrolled at the university.
  • All students are required to fulfill the university’s international transfer admissions requirements.

*While most programs at University at Albany require a minimum GPA of 2.5, some programs require a higher minimum GPA or specific entrance requirements for admission.
